Dear Valued Little League Supporter,

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Western Hills Little League (WHLL), please allow us to share some important information with you, including details which impact your financial contribution to the League.

As you may have noticed, we modestly increased registration fees for the Spring 2023 season. This decision was made following careful consideration by the Board of Directors for a variety of reasons. Chief amongst those reasons was the rising cost of running our league. Everything costs a little more these days, from paying for umpires and uniforms to the cost of leasing and maintaining our baseball fields. The Board worked to keep fees steady for as long as possible, and now we must make an adjustment to keep up with increased expenses.

Secondly, WHLL is embarking on a multi-phase capital improvement campaign. This effort involves: a short-term effort to improve the playing conditions at ALL the fields WHLL currently leases (Hatley Park in Rollingwood, Sayers/Bishop/Kocurek Fields at 1st Street and Joseph Field at WAYA); plus, a long-term effort to begin the initial stages of the design/build process to construct new baseball fields on Bee Cave Road.

We greatly appreciate your support of WHLL, a non-profit organization administered by a group of volunteers. Your financial contribution is crucial to our mission of offering high-quality recreation league baseball opportunities within our community.

Thank you again for your continued support of WHLL, and please reach out to either one of us if you have any questions or suggestions.

Let’s Play Ball,

Joe Newberry, President
